ChatGPT Lightspeed optimizes the performance of long ChatGPT conversations by reducing the number of page elements your browser renders. No data leaves your browser during this process.

Data collection

This extension collects no data.

• No browsing history is recorded
• No conversation content is read, stored, or transmitted
• No analytics or telemetry data is gathered
• No third-party tracking scripts are included

Permissions used

• storage — Saves your preferences locally in your browser
• activeTab — Detects whether you're on a ChatGPT tab
• host_permissions (chatgpt.com) — Required to run the optimization on ChatGPT pages
• host_permissions (extensionpay.com) — Required for license verification for paid users

Third-party services

The only external service the extension communicates with is ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) for payment license verification. This does not include any conversation data.

Data storage

All settings are stored locally in your browser. No data is stored on external servers.
